I’ve known Evan Bruno since his days as a standout baseball player at Amherst College, and then during his time as a coach, and as an officer in the United States Navy. When it comes to fostering leadership skills, especially with student-athletes, Evan is uniquely positioned to understand multiple sides of the equation – teacher, pupil, and ultimately, leader. I couldn’t think of a better resource when it comes to cultivating leadership skills in student-athletes.
— Kevin Graber, Chicago Cubs coach & coordinator
The Leadership 360 gave us very tangible and useful data and feedback on all levels of our program. This information is so valuable to us and allows us to help our coaches, player leaders, and team be better leaders, competitors, and teammates.
— Brian Bergstrom, Winona Football Head Coach
Evan is passionate about leadership development, and has great resources for individuals and teams hoping to increase their leadership skills. His approach is enthusiastic and encouraging, and provides practical skills for athletes.
— Katie Griffes, PhD, Founder of More Than Sport Skills & Assistant Professor of Sport & Exercise Sciences, SUNY Oneonta
Developing Athlete Leaders is an amazing program that provides a strong education & interactive experience for student-athletes, coaches, mentors, etc. to help them grow their leadership knowledge, skills, and abilities. After a wonderful experience with DAL where Evan was completely hands-on in supporting us from start to finish, we are proudly able to say that we grew as coaches, individual players, and a team from our time working with & through the DAL 360. I would recommend working with DAL for any “level” of leadership work that you might be doing!

Developing Athlete Leaders does a great job in staying up to date with current research and tactics and finding a way to apply them simply and directly for college coaches and coaching staffs. They are responsive and adapt to your needs. Highly recommend!!
— Matthew Goldsmith, Head Men’s Basketball Coach, The College of New Jersey
Evan is professional, emotionally mature, and patient with his ballplayers, who respect him a ton. He’s able to analyze situations from different angles and perspectives and used that to help our team leaders grow.
— Jon Benick, former pro baseball player & coach for Longwood, Wilkes University, and the NJ Jackals
Evan and Jen make an excellent team! Their expertise as former student-athletes, educators and athletic administrators is invaluable for teams, coaches and student-athletes. Also, their passion about leadership is second to none. I’d highly recommend their work to anyone considering helping people become the best version of themselves.
— Gregg DiNardo, Amherst College Associate Director of Athletics
Evan Bruno and DAL are top notch. High character organization that does a great job teaching leadership skills. Relates well with coaches and players of all ages.
— Justin Cronk, Head Baseball Coach & Recruiting Coordinator for Old World Baseball; Owner & President of Diamond College Advisory Team
I highly recommend DAL, not just for coaches and ADs, but also life coaches or psychologists working with athletes or sports coaches. For example, while the 360 works really well with a whole team or a captains cohort for a collegiate or high school program, I have recommended using the DAL360 to competitive sports teams interested in developing resilience as well as leadership. Giving and receiving feedback is a life skill and this is a great way to practice in the “learning laboratory” of a sports environment.
Additionally, if you’re an executive coach or sports psychologist, this can be a valuable and important tool for the development of your client. The value is fantastic too — the price includes a year’s worth of unlimited runs of the 360 survey and it is very affordable! That means you can measure progress in a scientific way to show return on investment for your coaching services.
— Brenna Chirby, Psy.D, LPC, Mind Balance Mental Health Collaborative
Evan is a highly effective communicator. His calm, thoughtful, and insightful approach to communicating with our players paid significant dividends for their mental well-being.”
— Bill Walkenbach, Claremont Mudd Scripps Baseball Head Coach
